A COUPLES RETREAT

Our luxury inn and spa near Austin, TX was originally created by John & Janie Orr in 1995 as a 12-room destination inn and restaurant on the old Kuykendall Ranch, the property has undergone a large renovation to create an ideal setting for a romantic Texas getaway.
The Calibrate retreat is designed to help couples who are already purposeful take things to the next level. It has three major components:

Reflection: We believe that before we can plan well for the future, we need perspective on where we’ve been and where we are now. Therefore, the first part of our time focuses primarily on reflection. A series of time-tested tools help us be stu​dents of our own lives, including our health, our marriage, our vocations, and beyond.

Connection: Every part of our time together is built around connecting with God, with our spouse, and to a lesser degree, with the rest of the group. We don’t drift into connection; it takes intentionality, and we provide tools and space for it to happen.

Direction: From a place of understanding where we are at a deeper level, and a place of being connected with God and each other, we spend the latter part of our time together looking forward. What rhythms do we need to adopt for the coming year? Where do we want to go together? We discern our direction and create some mechanisms for sticking with our intentions.
